thirty-seven cups of coffee drank, two national parks explored, three hotels & two friends’ homes & two kids’ homes lodged at, one sibling visited, four grandkids & four great-grandkids hugged, one squirrel & one elk befriended, 3,621 photos taken, hours of family memories recounted (with some fuzzy details) and a few darn good new ones created.

In the spring of 2015 I went on a 15 day roadtrip with my then 82yr old grandmother from Los Angeles, CA to her home in northwest Wisconsin. We hit up 10 states in 10 days.
